Christmas Eve... We read books like "The Night Before Christmas..." and I think they were already on the lookout for Santa
Christmas morning. The stockings were filled.
What did Santa bring??
Ernie for Henry (his hair resembles Ernies, kinda stands straight up)
And the Cookie Monster for Beckett! Since everything tastes better in his mouth.
Oh, but that's not all. Many more toys were under the tree!
The table was set for our friends and family. We had a feast!
Merry Christmas 2008!

The boys see Santa for the first time
Henry wasn't too sure about his beard... and Beckett was amazed by him!
This Santa is very special. He is a Professor of Psychology at UT Austin, and his specialty is in Children's Psychology. His doctoral thesis was written on "How finding out Santa isn't real affects children." He has been Santa at North Park Mall 20 years, and is fascinating to look at! Seeing the boys sitting in his lap was well worth the 8 hour wait. Everything was real on him, right down to the long beard!

Lunching out with the grandparents!
We went to stand in the absurd lines to see the "real" santa... he is fantastic with his beard and all, but the wait was literally 7 hours! ya, with twins, we can't really do that. So, the next best thing is having lunch at Mermaid in Neimans! They were dressed in their sweet Christmas outfits! We'll make it to see Santa before he leaves, might have to check out a week day instead of the weekend.
